
Public Rates
Holdrege Country Club is a semi-private course and welcomes public players. The course features a classic 18-hole, par-72 layout stretching 6,306 yards from the longest tees. With a course rating of 70.1 and a slope rating of 122, our course offers a rewarding experience for golfers of all skill levels.
Children under 12 years of age play for free with a paying green fee golfer.

Course Rules
To keep the game enjoyable, safe and fair for everyone, we ask all golfers to follow our course rules. These guidelines cover proper pace of play, course care, cart use, guest policies and etiquette on and around our greens and fairways. Knowing and following these standards helps preserve the quality of the course and ensures a great experience for members and guests alike.
Rules of Play

Observe all golf rules and posted signs.

Rake sand traps.

Repair ball marks on greens and divots in fairways.

Allow faster players to play through if the hole ahead of you is open. A general pace of play is 18 holes in 4 hours.

Fishing in the creek should be limited to a short search for your ball.

During the week, no player shall begin on #10 if a group is playing on #10 or if a group is playing on #8 or #9 and never on the weekends.

Carts must drive on cart paths only for all par three holes.

Do not deposit cigarette butts, sunflower seeds or other foreign objects on or near the putting surface.

No dogs are allowed on the course at any time.

Replace flagsticks carefully to avoid damage to the greens.

No riding on the back of carts.
Power Carts

Carts must follow outlined paths by the course superintendent and must stay at least 30 feet from all greens and tee boxes.

The course superintendent has the authority to close the course and restrict the use of carts at any time. Only he and the grounds chairman have the authority to open the course.

No child under 14 years of age shall operate a club rental cart unless accompanied by an adult. Annual cart membership requires family members to be at least 16 years of age.

Must be 16 years of age or older to rent a club cart.
Playing Times

The golf course will be open for all golfers Monday through Sunday, except during tournaments and scheduled outings. Check our Facebook page for events.

Youth golfers, age 14 and under, are encouraged to play during the week when accompanied by an adult and observe proper golf etiquette. Youth golfers may play on Saturday and Sunday when accompanied by a parent. We want to encourage our young players, but it is the responsibility of the parent to inform the youth golfer of all rules.
Guests

All public guests are welcome to play at Holdrege Country Club and must pay the appropriate green fees prior to entering the course. There is no discount for playing with a member. Carts are available for rent from the clubhouse. Renters are responsible for all damages. If public guests choose to bring their own cart, they must pay the posted trail fee prior to entering the course.

Out of county golfers may pay and play as often as they like with or without a member. Guests age 12 and under play free with a member or paying green fee golfer. Ages 13 to 17 green fees are $10 with a member or green fee-paying golfer. All in county, non-member guests are welcome to play up to three times per year without paying for a membership. Senior golfers, ages 70 and older, may play five time per year without a paid membership.

Clubhouse and bar are open to members, guests, green fee players and general public.

State law prohibits anyone from bringing any alcoholic beverages onto Holdrege Country Club premises.


Dress Code
Holdrege Country Club is member owned, with the aim of a relaxed, but conservative dress code. Tasteful and appropriate attire is expected at all times. Members are asked to willingly comply with the code and to make their family & guests aware of the requirements and ensure they comply.
Our staff has been authorized by the Board of Directors to enforce the dress code and has their permission to refuse service to anyone not in compliance. Persons not meeting these requirements will be asked to comply or may be refused access to the club and its facilities. Rules cannot be written that can possibly address every instance of inappropriate dress, but here are some requirements:
Men
Men are required to wear collared shirts or appropriate tee shirts. Denim, khaki or dress pants and shorts are required. Frayed or excessively baggy pants/shorts and tank tops are not permitted.
Women
Women are required to wear golf appropriate tops or sleeves. Pants, shorts, skorts, and skirts are permitted.
The above guidelines apply to junior golfers as well as adult golfers. Please note that all members are responsible for their guests’ adherence to our dress code. Please make sure your guests are aware of our policy prior to their arrival at the Club.
