Course History
Holdrege Country Club has been part of the community since 1925. Established during a time when golf was gaining popularity in Nebraska, the course has served as a place for recreation, competition and fellowship for over a century. Generations have learned to play here and passed on traditions of our club.
Today, the club features a classic 18-hole, par-72 layout stretching 6,306 yards from the longest tees. With a course rating of 70.1 and a slope rating of 122, our course offers a rewarding experience for golfers of all skill levels.
The Original Nine
The club's original nine holes, which now serve as the back nine, feature a traditional design with tree-lined fairways, strategically placed sand bunkers and water hazards in play on seven holes.
The Added Nine
In 1985, the course expanded with the addition of a second nine designed by golf course architect, Jeff Brauer. Now played as the front nine, this layout offers a more open, links-style design with large greens and open fairways. Water comes into play on two holes, providing additional challenges to the overall round.
Club Grounds
At Holdrege Country Club, a day at the course is meant to be enjoyed from start to finish. Our amenities are designed to provide a comfortable setting for practice, play and camaraderie at the clubhouse.
Clubhouse
The clubhouse serves as a welcoming place to gather before and after a round. Golfers can enjoy a full-service bar along with a selection of grab-and-go food and snacks, perfect for a quick bite at the turn or a relaxed drink after the round.
Practice Areas
Holdrege Country Club offers dedicated practice areas for golfers looking to sharpen every part of their game. Whether warming up before a round or spending time on the range, players have access to a:

Cart Sheds
We offer on-site cart sheds for members who maintain their own private golf carts. Members may choose to add this option through an annual fee, allowing their cart to be conveniently stored and ready for use throughout the season.
